This purebred German Shepherd puppy has been checked by a vet and was found to be healthy and has received its 1st set of puppy shots and been treated for worms. Buyer is encouraged to have 2 other sets of shots given, at 9 and 12 weeks of age. The breeder encourages buyer to have puppy checked out by their own vet within 48 hours. If vet finds dog/puppy to be in poor health, the cause of which is clearly attributed to the breeder, then the dog/puppy must be returned to us immediately at the expense of the buyer for a replacement of equal value as soon as one is available. Any vets diagnosis shall be subject to conformation by vet of breeders choice, expense to be paid by the buyer. Failure to see vet within 48 hours voids this guarantee. Although there are no guarantees that a puppy will not get hip dysplasia, we are making every effort to avoid such an occurrence. If this dog/puppy develops moderate to severe hip dysplasia by 26 months of age we will replace the puppy with another of equal quality as soon as one is available. Any puppy that is found to have a mild condition, which does not in any way shorten or diminish his/her quality of life will not be replaced. We reserve the right to request x-rays be sent first for review to a board certified veterinary radiologist or other vet of the breeders choice, expense to be paid by the buyer. Any x-ray that is inconclusive due to poor positioning will require a second set of x-rays taken(expense to be paid by buyer). The breeder understands that the buyer has grown attached to the puppy and does not require the puppy be returned to obtain a replacement puppy. If buyer chooses to keep the puppy, a certification of sterilization must be given to breeder before any replacement will be made. Any and all shipping fees related to the replacement pup are the buyers responsibility. This guarantee is void for a dog that has sired a litter or has been bred. It is said that genetics play 25%-30% factor in a dog having hip dysplasia. Other factors are diet, over feeding, and too much exercise at a young age. Buyers should not run, jog, or jump their dog until at least one year of age. This means not exercising to the point of exhaustion. A one or two block walk is ok, not a mile. The breeder will not be responsible for any veterinary, transportation or other expenses incurred. This dog/puppy is guaranteed for one year from date of birth against any congenital defects that would severely impair the dog’s quality of life. If a congenital problem is confirmed by a vet of the breeders choice(expense to be paid by the buyer) a replacement dog/puppy of equal value will be provided as soon as one is available. The breeder does not guarantee against environmental temperament problems such as but not limited to abuse, neglect, teasing, or failing to train their new pet properly. Buyer understands that in the event of abuse/neglect breeder can and will reposess dog/puppy. Breeder recommends that buyer take puppy to obedience classes. Buyer agrees that in the event they cannot keep dog/puppy that breeder will have first choice of taking dog/puppy back. Buyer understands that breeder never wants a dog/puppy to go to a shelter. In the event of a resale the original owner must contact breeder and give new owner name and contact information. Buyer understands that this puppy must be registered with the AKC with the name issued by the breeder but buyer can give puppy whatever call name they wish. Any change in registered name will void all guarantees.
The buyer agrees to provide:
1) Adequate fencing, I will not sell a dog/puppy to any one who would chain or tie a dog.
2) Veterinary care such as but not limited to annual check-ups, heart worm preventitive, and immunizations.
3) A high quality pet food such as Eagle Holistic Select.
4) Housing for dog/puppy within the buyers house or yard.
5) Supervised exercise like swimming, walking, jogging, etc...
All sales are final and deposits and down payments are non-refundable. Buyer understands that he/she is buying this dog/puppy primarily as a personal or family companion. Buyer understands dog/puppy is not guaranteed for show or breeding.
In the event of a dispute, the state of Montana will have jurisdiction over the matter.
